Once a project is underway, regular interim payments will need to be made in line with the conditions of the contract. Part of our role as Quantity Surveyor involves issuing interim recommendations for payment. These are designed both to protect your interests - by ensuring you don't overpay - and to provide a healthy cash flow to your builder.
If additional works are required due to a change in specification, we will negotiate appropriate payments. No additional costs will be incurred without your prior agreement as client.
On completion of the project we agree a final account with the main contractor and oversee the release of retention in line with the contract.
